Digitization is the practice of converting information into digital, machine-readable format. Digitization is vital for long term preservation of important collections and for making them widely accessible.

This Community of Practice meets to discuss collection development, cataloging, digital rights, promotion, contracting and best practices for digitizing transportation collections.  Participants will also focus on eliminating duplication of effort.
