US State DOT Wildlife Crossing Structures: Multi-use Corridors

As wildlife crossings become more commonly used as a means to allow for safe passage over highways, creating multiuse corridors that can be used both by humans and wildlife has become a subject of interest, particularly in urban areas and in parks attractive to tourists. The resources listed below address this topic; some deal with co-use exclusively, while others merely mention the concept.  The links lead to either a full-text paper or a landing page with an abstract and link for access.  Where noted, the resource would need to be requested through interlibrary loan.
