Minnesota
Research Implementation Program, Minnesota DOT
Provides funding for MnDOT staff to pilot test new equipment, technology or research that can set the stage for future full development. Projects must demonstrate, test or advance national, state or local research findings or test a new practice, equipment or process.

Research Implementation Committee, Minnesota Local Road Research Board
The Minnesota LRRB is a partnership among counties, cities, MnDOT and the University of Minnesota. Implementation efforts focus on developing training resources that transmit new knowledge to local practitioners. Projects are typically in the areas of road design, construction, maintenance and environmental compatibility.
