Public Safety Power Shutdown--Hydrogen Fuel Cell Mitigation Pilot briefPublic Safety Power Shutdown—Hydrogen Fuel Cell Mitigation Pilot, California Department of Transportation, start date: April 2022; expected completion date: December 2023.

In this pilot project, researchers are evaluating hydrogen fuel cell power backup systems as a reliable, cost-effective power solution during public safety power shutoffs.
