Terminology

Drones are also referred to as unmanned aerial systems (UAS), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System), RPAV (Remotely Piloted Aerial Vehicle) or remote control (RC) model aircraft.
